By creating a substructure, independent to the house and raising a “floating roof structure” tilting it opening

up the focal point and head space on the furthest most corner above the timber structure.

This allows light to come in from all 4 sides as well as, it collects the rain water separately from the house. 

The elegant clean lines of the wood, lead the eye to follow the loads of the structure from the roof to the ground. 

That consequently is mirrored with pieces of wood to create a geometric pattern that starts with a solid wall,

to a semi transparent wall, to an open wall. This creates a privacy where is needed and open es where is desired.

Furthermore, it creates a visual effect, bringing light to the space as well as creating beautiful shadows.
